Christo Iliev

Executive Director and Chairman, Main Shareholder

  • Mr. Christo Iliev was among the first business people to join Bulgaria’s burgeoning real estate market more than 16 years ago. While real estate agency Address was the first business he deployed, he headed shortly thereafter for a spree of related business establishments. The result today is AG Capital, the largest property business group in the Balkans with 14 companies and 1000 staff.
  • Mr. Christo Iliev is also the founder and CEO of Bulgarian Land Development (BLD). The real estate developer has been listed on the AIM segment of the London Stock Exchange since March 2006. With £55 million in net proceeds, the company has developed several high-end projects in Sofia and on the Black Sea coast.

Georgi Pavlov

Vice-Chairman, AG Capital Executive Director

  • Mr. Georgi Pavlov has been a senior executive at AG Capital since 2005. After originally being in charge of the group’s Strategic Management & Business Development operations, in November 2006 he was named AG Capital's Executive Director.
  • The professional background of Mr. Georgi Pavlov includes top executive positions in Stara Planina Holding JSCo, the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Associations, Leasing Company JSCo, Spartak JSCo and Incom JSCo. This translates into experience in the fields of real estate, the machine building industry, leasing, management and tax consultancy.

  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics from The Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski";
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the City University – Seattle.

Sergey Koinov

Managing Partner

  • Mr. Sergey Koinov joined Forton International in 2007 with solid professional experience in consultancy, management and sales. In his previous role as CEO of an energy consultancy firm, he brokered the entry of world-leading technologies into the Bulgarian market. While at IBM, he was among the few Bulgarians to have been entrusted with IBM's key clients in Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
  • At Forton International, Mr. Koinov has helped restructure the company into a customer-oriented business and one offering the full scope of commercial property services. Under his guidance, Forton expanded into Serbia and Macedonia, saw turnover increase significantly, and the company became an Alliance Partner of Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate advisory company.

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration from City University – Washington.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Applied Economics from the American University in Bulgaria.
  • A number of in-house consultancy, sales and managerial trainings at Siemens Business Services and IBM.
